H Algebra 2 Summer Assignment
Welcome to Honors Algebra 2! I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with each of you and hope that you are having a nice summer. The following documents include some review problems to get your brain moving so that you will be up to speed when class starts. The assigned problems must be turned in by the end of the first day of school. If you have questions over any of these problems, you may stop by room 205 at lunch or after school that first day. There will be a review quiz during the first week of school over the assigned problems below.
- Algebra 1 Review Questions and Formula Reference Sheet - read and study these two documents that include ideas and vocabulary that you should know before getting to the class
- Please do the problems below using a pencil. Organize your work with all problems for each worksheet
grouped together and done in numerical order. No more than two problems horizontally across a page. Label each
problem with the problem number. Be sure to copy the problem (not the word problems) and show all work in
getting to the answer. I will be checking to see your complete solution that includes not only the correct
answer but all the algebra it takes to get to that answer.
- Review of Graphing - #13, 14, 18, 20-24, 26-32 (evens), 35-37
- Review of Factoring - #3-54 (multiples of 3), 55-60, 67, 68
- Review of Solving Equations - #20-35 (every 3rd), 41-56 (every 3rd)
- Review of Word Problems - #6, 8, 12
- Answers for these review sheets. Some of the answers listed may be incorrect. If so, show why the listed answer is incorrect.
