ABOUT ME

I am a native Californian, but have lived in Houston now for the past ten years.  I moved here shortly after getting married because my husband wanted to pursue a particular business opportunity in the oil industry.  Houston has really grown on me and I am not sure I would move back now to California, even if given the opportunity.  There is so much to do and see here.  The one thing I really miss is being able to do a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, backpacking, etc.  I am an avid runner and love to do anything that involves being in nature.  I also enjoy yoga, music, reading and travel.  This July I plan to hit the road with my kids for the entire month to visit friends and family all over the country.  I have three children:  Ellie (7 years), Mia (5 years) and Trey (5 years).  Life as a full-time working mom is challenging and keeps me on my toes!
