I wear many hats at St. Agnes!

Academic Dean:  I oversee the faculty and the curriculum.  I hire and evaluate teachers, and also work closely with them on their professional development.  I am heavily involved in the planning of yearly inservice programs that keep our faculty and our program on the cutting edge in college preparatory education.  I also manage the process for yearly curriculum review and evaluation.  We adjust and change the curriculum as necessary, given new research, ideas, etc.

Director of Admission:  I oversee the process for recruiting new students to our school.  This is a very fun job that involves speaking to 8th grade visitors to our campus, giving campus tours to prospective families, coordinating our annual open house for prospective students, and attending various recruiting events around the city.  I take every opportunity to promote St. Agnes Academy and our wonderful students!  Every year we admit approximately 200 students into our 9th grade class, and I oversee the process for their matriculation.

Spanish Teacher:  The best 45 minutes of my day is when I teach a Spanish 1 class.  I insist on staying current with my craft, and no matter how busy my day gets, I always look forward to being with my students in the classroom!
