Our Director - Ms. Miller

Ms. Felicia Miller started her theater career when she was in the 5th grade when she performed as Glenda, the good witch of the North in “The Wizard of Oz.”. She starred in her first major production in 8th grade as the lead female role in “Oklahoma”. Her first directing experience was when she was a junior in college. She directed Tennessee William’s “Baby Doll” at the University of Houston, School of Theater. At the University of Houston, she majored in Theater Arts and studied all aspects of theater. She had professional theater training in all areas such as: costumes, set design, lighting, sound, and makeup. She has worked extensive hours on crew work in props, wardrobe, costume construction, and directing.

She came to St. Agnes in the 2004-2005 year. Her first production at our theater was “The Glass Menagerie.” Her directing continued to “Fools”, “Medea”, “Canterbury Tales” and is currently working on “Pressure” and “Puzzle Pieces.” She also teaches freshman and sophomore English classes.

Ms. Miller is also a single mother of one son, Anthony, who, like his mom, is also interested in theater. As a single mom, she went back to college to get her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a Master in Education. Ms. Miller is so grateful and feels fortunate that she is able to work in the industry and field that she was trained in.

Ms. Miller has brought a great atmosphere to the theater, and is loved by ALL of her students and actors/actresses. She is very experienced and knows a great deal about what she teaches. She listens to the opinion of her actors and crew to try to find a median so that everyone is happy.
