When my I meet with you?
Look at the color-code schedule, decide when you can come, then mark an X on the conference schedule on the front chalkboard, and check with me so that I can enter your name in my planner.

When may I make up my quiz?
Look at the front chalkboard for the quiz make up schedule and come at the beginning of lunch only.

May I make up my quiz at a time other than the make up quiz date?
No. I create a new quiz for every quiz session and I don't make up individual quizzes.

What if I miss the make up quiz session?
Make it up on the next make up quiz session with no penalty for being late. You'll see a zero on NetView, but I'll change it to a grade when you've made up the quiz.

When may I make up my test?
On the day you return and no later than two days after you return. After that point, your test will receive a ten per cent penalty per day it's late and after five days you will receive a zero for that test.

What happens if I turn my paper in late?
You receive a ten percent penalty per day it's turned in late unless you were absent on the due date.

What do I do if I wasn't at a workshop or didn't have my paper on a workshop day?
If you were absent on the workshop day, you won't receive a late penalty if you give me the edited draft on the day of your return. If you just didn't have the paper for workshop, you'll receive a thirty percent reduction of the workshop grade and then late penalties if you don't have it to turn in on the day after that. In either case, you get the draft edited according to the edit sheet for that day (by anyone at all) and then show it to me.

What do I do if I don't have the workshop drafts to turn in with the final draft of a paper?
Leave a note with the drafts so I know you know it's missing.

Will any excuse change the penalty on turning in my paper late?
No. Out of class papers are assigned more than one month before the deadline. Two writing workshop days presumably ensure that you will have a full draft at least one week before the deadline date. If you don't have a paper ready by the deadline date, you've been neglecting to do your work for at least one month.

What do I do if I have trouble getting on the website for turnitin.com?
Talk to Mr. Wheeler and also notify me by email.

When can I go to the restroom?
After roll is taken. If you aren't in your seat at the bell when I need to take roll, I'll count you absent or tardy.

How do I find out about how much of the grade a class assignment will count?
Look at the course information sheet for your course.
